Artist, Designer, & Teacher

As a versatile artist, I engage with various mediums, with a primary focus on painting and drawing, alongside my role as a Senior Visual Designer. My artistic endeavors delve into themes of memory, spirituality, self-reflection, and the complexities of life. Exploring forms and spaces, my work seeks to unravel profound questions and recreate them visually. Originally from rural Missouri, I now call coastal North Carolina home. I have an insatiable wanderlust, from impromptu Sunday road trips to far-flung travels with my passport in hand. Nature is my sanctuary, and I find solace in the great outdoors. In my downtime, I indulge in crime dramas, a guilty pleasure. My academic journey includes a BFA in Painting from Missouri State, an MFA from the University of South Florida, and recently, a BS in Graphic Design. Alongside my artistic pursuits, I’ve had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of art courses at institutions such as the University of South Florida, the University of Tampa, and Columbia College. My work has been exhibited both locally and nationally, reflecting my dedication to sharing my artistic vision with others.
